Couch Potato Companies™ is a term coined by dewey & associates (d&a) to describe the television networks and video game companies trying to get kids to watch TV and play video games al day everyday. d&a created the counter-marketing campaign to educate kids and parents on the enormous role Couch Potato Companies have played in engineering activity out of our children’s lives.

Couch Potato Companies™ campaign was recently developed (Summer, 2007) through a grant from the Allegany Franciscan Ministries. It will be evaluated in the 2007-2008 school year as part of the Kidz Bite Back campaign (16 schools) in Tampa Bay, Florida.
